Our classroom reflects the values of a Quaker education: unity in diversity, seeking peace, and respect for all of God’s children. We honor every child, teaching them to respect the beliefs, values, and culture of one another.

Third graders learn from one another as we work on units on marine biomes, canines, bears, Native Americans, and solar system. Language and math skills are emphasized through various activities such as journal writing, vocabulary development, projects requiring research, oral and computer-aided presentations, and peer collaboration.
